I'm Ivan, and I'm using this website to document my selective breeding journey with guppies. While YouTube has been a great platform, I needed a place to share both the big picture and the finer details of my project in a format beyond video.

I’ve been a fish keeper since I was a kid and my fascination with guppies led me to explore their genetics. Other than a handful of exceptions, I found it challenging to find truly reliable information, especially when it came to documented breeding projects. That's what inspired me to dive in and start my own breeding program – hands-on experience seemed like the best way to learn.

I'm still figuring out the ins and outs of guppy genetics, but I'm sharing what I learn along the way. Hopefully, this website gives you some ideas and inspiration for your own breeding projects!
